As Director of Programs, Chhengpor Aun leads applied policy research works and manages all programmatic activities, including the Policy Research Fellowship, Community of Researchers, and Partnership programs. Trained in international relations, mass communication, and public policy, his research examines the intersection of international relations and emerging technologies, current affairs in Cambodia and Vietnam, and Indo-Pacific geopolitics. Prior to joining Future Forum, Aun worked as a journalist, publishing articles with Voice of America, South China Morning Post, and Reuters, and providing analyses for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). He was a visiting research fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, affiliated with the 2023 Shangri-La Dialogue Southeast Asian Young Leaders' Program.
