Join us for an engaging Research Colloquium on “Cambodia’s Future Education: Policy Options for a Lifelong Learning Ecosystem”.
Cambodia’s education system is at a critical juncture, necessitating a proactive leapfrog strategy to address the compounding challenges presented by pre- and post-pandemic conditions amid future uncertainties and a rapidly changing regional and global economic landscape. The need to transition from traditional schooling toward a lifelong learning ecosystem has become increasingly urgent. Such a system must enable continuous learning across formal, non-formal, and informal pathways, equipping Cambodians of all ages with student agency for a changing labor market and society. Future Forum’s junior research fellow has conducted a study titled “Cambodia’s Future Education: Policy Options for a Lifelong Learning Ecosystem”, which explores how the nation can reimagine its future education under such a system to inform anticipated changes for future education delivery, policy, and improved social outcomes for all. This research colloquium is a knowledge-sharing platform bridging policy research and educational practice and reform. The event aims to identify avenues for collaborative research, pilot programs, and policy dialogue to shape Cambodia's future education discourse and advance practical reforms.
Objectives
Present key findings and policy recommendations from the study
Facilitate constructive dialogue between policy researchers and education practitioners
Identify practical implications for teaching, learning, and institutional practices
Explore opportunities for joint research, pilot initiatives, and policy engagement
