Internship Opportunities: Policy Group Support X3
Future Forum is seeking three Policy Group Support Interns to provide research and coordination support to the Infrastructure, Natural Resource, and Civil Society Policy Groups. Each intern will be assigned to one group and will work as its day-to-day point of contact under the direction of the Director of Programs, building the group’s knowledge base, supporting the fellows working within it, and helping deliver its public events. The role is designed for an aspiring policy analyst wanting hands-on, supervised experience in a specialized policy domain and in the practical work of convening public policy debate.

Your tasks
Act as the day-to-day point of contact for one assigned Policy Group, coordinating its members and supporting the Director of Programs in the running of the group.

Conduct rapid-response literature mapping and desk reviews on contemporary Cambodian and regional policy frameworks in the domain, to support the fellows working within the group.
Coordinate the group’s monthly meetings, including scheduling, agendas, minutes, and the tracking of agreed actions.
Support the preparation and operational delivery of the group’s Community of Researchers Program activities — Policy Talk, Policy Walk, Policy Night, Movie & Policy Event and Colloquium — including background research on speakers and topics, drafting invitee lists, liaising on logistics, and documenting each session.
Assist in the preparation of funding proposals in the domain by gathering background material, compiling annexes, and formatting submissions.
Maintain records of the group’s outputs, activities, and participation to support program reporting.
Spend four working hours a week on Saturday, or any other designated time as determined by the Director of Programs, attending fellowship training and co-learning sessions.
