OU Virak
MAO Sreykeo is a fresh graduate majoring in International Relations at the Institute of Foreign Languages, Royal University of Phnom Penh. Currently, she is working as a program intern at Actionaid Cambodia in Phnom Penh, and a young research fellow at Future Forum. She has been involved in many educational programs including Cambodia National Model ASEAN Meeting, PUC Model United Nations, KAS Horizon, Young ASEAN Leader Policy Initiative, and Training Series on Policy Brief Writing. Recently she produced a short policy brief entitled “Mitigating the Impact of COVID-19 on Women in Cambodia through Gender Responsive Budgeting” that emphasizes the importance of inclusive social protection and Gender Responsive and Inclusive Budgeting. Her research interests revolve around ASEAN and government affairs, social protection and the government's national budget, gender and global climate change.
