SOK Sovanrotha is a Trade Facilitation Advisor for ARISE Plus Cambodia, where he works on improving customs, trade facilitation and standards for better integration of Cambodia into the ASEAN Economic Community and to accelerate Cambodia’s implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and Law. In 2018, he wrote a thesis evaluating the Cambodian government’s policy for human capital development as part of his International Relations degree at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. He was previously an intellectual property associate, which drew his interest into exploring the effects of international trade and the environment.
