Rim Sokvy is a former Co-founder of the Thinker Cambodia, a digital commentary focused on Cambodia’s foreign policy. Currently, he is a freelance columnist, writing mostly on Cambodia’s foreign policy and Cambodia’s relations with China and Southeast Asian countries. He writes extensively on the Chinese investment in Cambodia, Chinese port investment in Cambodia, Cambodia-China relations, and Cambodia’s engagement with Southeast Asian countries. His articles can be found on the websites of ThinkChina, China Global South, East Asia Forum, The Diplomat, VOD, Eurasia Review, and Cambodianess. Currently, he is also a freelance consultant. His current project is working for a private microfinance institution in Cambodia, focusing on gender inequality.
