Sokunlanita May is a communications and gender advocate experienced in program coordination, community engagement, and institutional communications. She founded Women in Architecture and Engineering (WAE), an initiative promoting gender inclusion through workshops and partnerships. Previously, she served as Coordinator Assistant for the Deung Hem Placemaking Project in Phnom Penh, facilitating cross-stakeholder collaboration. An alumna of the YSEALI Academic Exchange Program in the United States focusing on environmental issues, Sokunlanita is deeply passionate about advancing gender equality, inclusive development, and meaningful social change in Cambodia and beyond.
