OU Virak
LAM Long graduated with Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at Build Bright University-Siem Reap Campus. He has been working in the Siem Reap Provincial Department of Labor and Vocational Training for almost four years and is joining Future Forum as a young research fellow of the 2022 Young Researchers Program July to December Cohort. Before this, he did a research thesis titled “Knowledge, Attitude and Practices on the Solid Waste Management among the urban households in Phnom Penh”. Long served as an official in public administration with great experiences in writing reports, documenting official letters, project coordination, and assisting in the human resource managing tasks. He developed extensive interests in climate change, waste management, migration and child labor; and public management in digital governance, public service delivery, and human resource management. He plans to further research on climate change impacts on agriculture products in Cambodia.
