Long Lam is an alumnus of the Young Research Fellow at the Future Forum in 2022. He graduated with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and a Master of Public Administration in Cambodia. He is currently pursuing a Master of Geography at the University of Melbourne, furthering his expertise.
Long’s career in public service began in 2016 as an officer to the central government in the environment sector, where he aims to tackle the pressing environmental challenges that our society faces today.
Long has broad research interests that extend from environmental policy to climate change adaptation, democratic water governance, agriculture, gender, disaster management, and mental health. Currently, Long is conducting a research project on the implications of current water governance on farmers’ livelihoods in Pursat province, Cambodia.
