OU Virak

VANLY Keomuda is a feminist and research enthusiast. She was an honor graduate from the Department of International Studies, Royal University of Phnom Penh, with a BA in International Relations. Her thesis was on evaluating the policy capacity of Ministry of Women’s Affairs’ Neary Rattanak IV strategic plan in empowering women’s economic and political participation in Cambodia. Currently, she serves as a young research fellow at Future Forum, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) officer at USAID Greening Prey Lang. Her research interests include women empowerment, gender equity, and social inclusion. She believes that a country’s development program should always integrate gender-sensitive approaches.
