Born in the heritage site of Cambodia, Siem Reap province, Bunheng Hoeurm is currently joining Future Forum as a Young Research Fellow. He earned two BA degrees including International Relations from the Institute of International Studies and Public Policy and Philosophy from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. During college, he took more than one year volunteering at a local NGO working on youth engagement and empowerment. Since late 2020, he has been working for a local human rights institution. His research interests lie in democracy, human rights, socio-economic development, youth engagement/empowerment, and small-state foreign policy.
