Dr. Leewood Phu received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington in 1988 and his Honorary Doctorate degree in Engineering from Woosuk University, Republic of Korea in 2010. He is also an MIT alumnus.
He has worked in both academic and industrial settings in developed and developing countries. His public service contributions included serving as ASEAN Department director at the Offices of the Council of Ministers, Secretary General and Board Member of the National ICT Development Authority of the Royal Government of Cambodia, Advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia.
His extensive experiences included software engineering; e-Government policy & development, Digital Government and project management. His numerous achievement awards included the Best CIO award in 2005.
