OU Virak

MORB Sethmonykeo is currently a senior student in International Economics at the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), Royal University of Phnom Penh and the Harpswell Foundation, and a young research fellow at Future Forum. She also served briefly as a volunteer English teacher for children in remote communities in Kompong Speu, Prey Veng, and Kompong Cham and as an intern at two non-governmental organizations. In 2021, she wrote a paper titled “Nord Stream 2: Implications on European (Energy) Security”, which was published in a diplomatic briefing series by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Cambodia (KAS). Her research interests lie in neoliberal globalization, development economics, and the relationship between domestic politics and foreign policy.
