Services are comprehensive, ranging from client-adapted, needs-based analyses to hands-on training of staff. Future Forum’s Advisory Services program work on a consultancy model. We work directly with clients to identify their needs and determine the best course of action.
Although comprehensive training packages in the areas of (1) Political Analysis, Cambodian Politics & Government; and (2) Scenario Planning/Fore-Sighting are available and described below, Future Forum is also willing and able to developing training packages, written analyses (such as briefing papers, policy recommendations or other types of materials), individual lectures and talks, or other services on a needs-basis. Drawing on our extensive understanding of Cambodian politics and political parties, as well as a substantive network of sources, Future Forum staff are ideally placed to conduct in-depth political analyses that can be used by a wide range of stakeholders to not only better understand the context in which they are operating but also to better plan future activities and areas of work. In addition, Future Forum is offering a one-day training workshops for NGOs, institutions, companies, or any other stakeholders interested in Cambodians politics and government. The training includes the two main modules listed below, which take about a half-day each:
The workshops/trainings are led and facilitated by two Future Forum staff and supported by an assistant, who will take comprehensive notes of the discussions and activities. The notes, as well as any presentation slides or other handout materials, will then be compiled and provided to the client as part of the total package fee.
Later in 2017, Future Forum will be producing an Introduction to Cambodian Government and Politics manual, which will be made available in both English and Khmer as an e-book for purchase.
Future Forum is conducting short, medium and long-term scenario planning and fore-sighting, to assess, to the best of our ability, what Cambodia will look like – whether politically, economically, socially or any other factors – in the coming years. As part of that work, we are developing an in-depth fore-sighting report for Cambodia, which will be available in mid-2017, for a fee, as well as a summary version which will be made available on our website.
