Sorpong Peou is a Professor of global peace and security studies for the Department of Politics and Public Administration at Ryerson University; Toronto, Canada. President of Science for Peace at the University of Toronto. His background includes being a Member of the Eminent Persons Group at the Asian Political and International Student Association; a Distinguished Senior Fellow at the Cambodian Institute for Peace and Cooperation; a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the Cambodian Development Research Institute; and a Member of an International Country Experts Network on UN Peacekeeping.
